Damn, that chapter I've been working on lately opened up dozens of new doors to side projects I'm now hungry to go after !
Being rather overloaded with ideas I decided to get some of that weight off my shoulders and borrowed the skills of another artist, good old commission time again ! :)
It's been ages since I commissioned someone and so I welcomed this positive chaos very eagerly.
I had a few artists in mind, but finally decided to knock on Ed-Chan's door. This is from an artist that caught my attention a couple of weeks ago, and I immediately fell in love with the style.
I have the biggest admiration for artists that are able to squeeze so much playfulness and expressiveness out of their work ; even the most simplistic sketches or doodles had more soul than some of the crazies illustrations I've seen out there.
This is an amazing skill, and I boil in jealously for not being able to express this by myself XD
If I had that talent, I'd probably sit there and laugh my ass off at the dumbest shit I'd doodle throughout the day.
So maybe it's for the best of the world that I don't have that kind of power, right ? :D
Anyway !
Ed-Chan does have this power. And being curious as to what Kat would look like in this style, I decided to go for a portrait.
And that result, aaaaaaaw~~ :D~~~
The draft was already extremely promising, the lineart amazing, and after a little back and forth to get the mad colors, the final result was simply perfect :D~~~~
I'm just in love with his entire attitude and body language here - that mix of subtle lustful teasing, with yet a hint of assholery in his expression that blurs the lines between "who wants to play with whom".
I wonder where he found the stockings and the regalia. That alone could be worth another story. Oh man, lol.
I'd have quite some fun exploring that !

It's been a while since I saw him playing with his sensual-feminine side that much, and that's great ! It adds particularly strong contrasts, and god knows I love that :)

I love illustrations that summon entire stories, and this is definitely one of them. I could come up with dozen of stories around it ! And I both love and hate this XD

I'd love to explore this direction further, but now I'd also love even more contrasts and counterbalance it with another take on a really idiotic/gross Kat lol
Cause he might look nice and pretty, but deep inside, he's still a nasty piece of shit lol
My initial plans were to commission this artist with a portrait to get a hint of the direction to go for some further commissions.
I had a couple of ideas, also throwing Tiji into the mix, but now I'm also tempted to explore this Kat-energy at play here.
Would maybe be fun to have 'em both in a fun-dumb pic, Kat being in a more predatorish position, but ultimately being denied - Tiji's not impressed lol - something combining a bit of perversion and comedy.
