The journey'd been exhausting so far, and I just wanted to wank off some built-up tension at a lonely bonfire, but then that lady popped up. She provided a few services, but none of them being relevant to my fleshy wolf needs of the moment. Disappointing.

I discovered this location quite early, spent a few hours exploring it, desperately looking for ways to reach those higher grounds - a quest I wasn't alone to engage in, as I would later encounter a partner with the same motivation - Blaidd, the wolf.

Blaidd immediately grew on me, a big wolf brother to look up too. And each time our paths crossed, this barren world became a bit less threatening, and our common goal, to find a way to explore those higher grounds, felt more tangible with each new challenge overcome.

Eventually I had to witness rage devour my companion, shackled by destiny, yet honest to the end. His deliverance had to come from my blade - and so I brought him peace. I decided to wear his skin, a reminder of the only friend that walked with me - and of the guilt of what I had done.
